Jack Childs sadly died in a road accident when a lorry hit a tree at night-time on the A60 Nottingham Road, Manfield, Agust 1942 Jack had hitched a ride from Nottingham to get home for some leave. The lorry had its lights blacked out and the driver missed a bend in the road. I believe 2 other people died. Jack was a signals operator in the navy.

Frank was a navigator in the RAF and I believe was shot down. He died on 18th April 1944 and his grave is in Ramleh War Cemetry. located in Ramla, Isreal. He was only 21

The War Graves Commission headstone errected to Jack and Frank [Difficult to read at the bottom]. This is also the unmarked resting place of Elizer. Susan visits the grave and would like some mention of Elizer.

Barrie Wesson Funeral Ceremony 29th March 2022

One of the features of the Covid Pandemic was the restrictions placed on public gatherings and this particularly effected weddings and funerals. Barrie's Ceremony was after these rules were relaxed. A legacy became the prevalence of video recording ceremonies and in the passing of time this recording will stand as the eulogies fade.
